Chapter 4

I was relieved when Nancy announced that she had appointments that would keep her busy all afternoon after I completed my rehab exercises that Sunday. Although I have enjoyed all the attention since I rescued Crystal in that alleyway, I have found that the sex isn’t quite exciting for me because it feels like it is just a reward for something that should have been done under any circumstance.

I must have fallen asleep after I had lunch and took a shower. I was startled when the window curtains where flung wide open. I was about to protest after raising my head to glare at the perpetrator of my displeasure. “Holy shit,” I gasped when my eyes located Kylie standing in front of the window.

The indecently short cut off jean shorts that Kylie had on allowed most of her ass to hang out the back and made her sleek athletic legs look like they could go on and on forever. With the sun shining into the room from behind Kylie, I could see her bare breasts through the white transparent halter top she had on.

“Do you intend to shock me awake every time you find me asleep? I growled as I reached down to pull the blankets up. The way that Kylie was smiling at me, I was certain that she must have seen my full erection before I could cover myself.

“Maybe I should come to your room and see how you you’d like your privacy being invaded,” I added defensively. I could feel some precum drooling out of my cock as Kylie began to approach me. Her tall sensuous body looked magnificent with the sun shining behind her.

“I thought that a local hero like you would expect to be pampered and adored,” Kylie crooned in sarcastic sort of tone. “I haven’t heard you complaining about mama and Aunt Nancy humping your brains out,” she added with a wink and playful chuckle.

Kylie suddenly stopped abruptly when she saw the small stain of blood that was seeping through the bandage on my shoulder. “I didn’t ask for any of this shit,” I snarled my reply when I noticed that my shoulder was throbbing again. I had worked myself a lot harder than I should have earlier.

“All I did was help someone in a dark alley and now my life is upside-down,” I growled. “Maybe you could just take me home now,” I added with a grunt. “Let me be miserable in my own home,” I moaned as I lowered my head back onto my pillow.

I could see the concern on Kylie’s face as she bent forward to take a closer look at my shoulder. “I’m sorry, Jack…I forgot…that you really got hurt,” she whispered while she lifted the bandage away to inspect the healing bullet wound. “I’ll put a new dressing on this and we can talk later,” she added while she gazed up into my eyes.

“It would be nice to feel like someone actually likes me,” I growled while Kylie was changing the bandage.
